Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of FCN Risk Lab. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.

Operator and professional-only access

FCN Risk Lab is developed, owned and operated by ActivEdge Solutions Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202107711M), 1 North Bridge Road, #06-29, High Street Centre, Singapore 179094 ("ActivEdge", "we", "us" or "our"). The service is a professional tool available only to financial advisers and financial-adviser representatives who are currently licensed, registered, exempt or otherwise authorised by the relevant regulator in their jurisdiction. It is not offered to retail investors, consumers or the general public. Applicants must truthfully provide their name, email, regulatory jurisdiction and authority, professional registration identifier and required declarations; company name is optional. Access remains subject to verification. We may refuse, suspend or end access if eligibility cannot be confirmed, ceases or was misrepresented.

Product analytics—not financial advice

FCN Risk Lab provides general product-risk analytics and educational information. It does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice; act as your financial adviser, broker, arranger or fiduciary; recommend or endorse any security, issuer or transaction; determine whether an FCN is suitable or appropriate for you; establish fair value; or guarantee or predict any outcome. No score, grade, scenario, report, alert or other output is an offer, solicitation, inducement or recommendation to buy, hold or sell an investment.

Seek independent professional advice

Fixed Coupon Notes are complex investments and may expose you to partial or total loss of capital, issuer credit risk, market and volatility risk, liquidity constraints, early redemption and other risks. Before investing or acting on any information from the service, read the final term sheet, Product Highlights Sheet, prospectus and other issuer documentation and seek advice from appropriately qualified independent professional advisers—including a licensed financial adviser and, where relevant, legal, tax and accounting advisers. Do not use FCN Risk Lab as the sole basis for an investment decision.

No suitability assessment or professional relationship

The service does not ask for the personal and financial circumstances needed to assess suitability and does not require users to submit client profiles or client suitability questionnaires. ActivEdge has confirmed that it holds no historical client-profile records. Your use of the service does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, agency or other professional relationship with FCN Risk Lab, ActivEdge or any of ActivEdge’s directors, officers, employees, contractors or agents.

Your professional responsibility

You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to act, for obtaining any required professional advice, and for independently verifying all information. If you use the service in your professional work or in connection with another person, you remain responsible for your regulatory, disclosure, suitability, appropriateness, conduct, record-keeping and other professional obligations. An FCN Risk Lab output may supplement, but does not replace, your own analysis, due diligence, professional judgement or advice process.

Confirm all product terms

Document extraction and manual entry can be incomplete or wrong. Before using an assessment, you must check the issuer, underlyings, fixing levels, strike, barrier, observation method, coupon conditions, dates, autocall and settlement provisions, fees and every other material term against authorised final product documentation. If an output conflicts with that documentation, the authorised documentation prevails.

Data, scenarios and model limitations

Market data and news may be delayed, incomplete, corrected, estimated, throttled or unavailable. Models and scenarios simplify real markets and cannot capture every price path, gap, correlation, credit, liquidity, valuation, tax, legal or operational risk. Outputs depend on the terms, data, assumptions and model version shown. Scores are relative analytical measures, not probabilities of loss, credit ratings or forecasts. Past, hypothetical or simulated results do not predict future outcomes.

Third-party data and services

The service depends on third-party authentication, hosting, storage, email, payment and market-data services. Their availability, data, corrections, delays, terms and permitted uses are outside ActivEdge’s control. Third-party content remains subject to the relevant provider’s rights and conditions. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement.

Your account and submitted information

You must use your own verified email, provide accurate and current account and professional-status information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us if your eligibility changes or you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must have the right to use every document or item of information you submit. Do not enter or upload client profiles, client suitability information, or personal data about any client or other third party. Remove personal identifiers from term sheets before uploading them.

Credits and payments

Purchases are processed by Stripe under its applicable terms. FCN Risk Lab records credit purchases and fulfilment but does not store full payment-card details. Credits are a limited, revocable right to use specified service functions; they are not money, are not transferable and have no cash value. All completed credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except to the extent a refund, cancellation or other remedy is required by an applicable statute or other legal provision that cannot be excluded.

Permitted and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, you may use the service and share unaltered reports for your internal professional work and regulated client conversations, provided all disclosures remain visible and your use complies with law, confidentiality duties and third-party rights. You must not misuse the service; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with security or operation; introduce malicious code; reverse engineer, scrape or circumvent controls; misrepresent an output as advice or a guarantee; remove disclosures; use the service unlawfully; infringe privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property or other rights; share account credentials; or automate access or redistribute data or reports where a source, licence or law does not permit it.

Intellectual property and your materials

FCN Risk Lab and its software, design, scoring methodology, text, reports and branding are owned by or licensed to ActivEdge and are protected by applicable rights. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service as stated in these Terms. You retain rights in information you lawfully submit and grant ActivEdge a limited right to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to operate, secure and support the service and exercise legal rights.

Availability and changes

The service may change, be corrected, suspended, restricted or discontinued and may experience delays or interruptions. Features, data sources, models, credit requirements and these Terms may be updated. Material policy changes will be versioned and presented for acceptance where appropriate.

Use entirely at your risk

You use the service, and rely or act on every score, grade, scenario, report, alert and other output, entirely at your own risk. You remain solely responsible for every investment, advisory, professional or other decision and for all resulting gains, losses and consequences. ActivEdge does not assume responsibility for any investment outcome or loss of capital.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service and all outputs are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ActivEdge makes no representation or warranty, express, implied or statutory, that the service or any information or output is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, fit for a particular purpose or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ActivEdge and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates and licensors are not liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any investment or trading loss, loss of capital, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss arising from or connected with the service, an output, an unavailable or delayed service, or a decision made or not made using the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, ActivEdge’s aggregate liability arising from or connected with the service and these Terms will not exceed the greater of S$100 and the fees you paid to ActivEdge for FCN Risk Lab during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent that it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Suspension and termination

You may delete your account through Account & privacy. We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary for misuse, security, legal or operational reasons, or a breach of these Terms. Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, records, governing law and responsibility continue where their nature requires it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Subject to any mandatory rights or dispute process that applies, the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or connected with these Terms or the service.

General terms

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue. A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganisation, financing or transfer of the service. ActivEdge’s directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates and licensors may enforce provisions that expressly protect them; otherwise, a person who is not a party has no right to enforce these Terms. These Terms, the Privacy Notice and any checkout terms presented to you form the agreement governing your use of the service.
